An entity’s structure is as solid as its pillars and a chain is as unbreakable as its weakest link. Few companies are as conscious of the validity of such dictums as we are at WEST- and have been since our inception nearly 20 years ago.

 

Indeed, we are all but acutely aware that for us to grow and prosper we need to continuously revisit review and, when necessary, address and redress any deviation from the basic tenets in which our pillars are anchored.

 

Safeguarding our company’s structure against possible erosion is of capital importance to our credibility; we incessantly strive to ensuring that our pillars are as strong and solid as the relationships we would like to forge. it is a chain the links of which must be as robust and flawless as our exacting-standars.

No relationship can survive the test of time without it being anchored in a solid bedrock of ethical-conduct; candour, fair-play, and professional integrity are the backbone of our company’s structural values. At West, those values are inextricably woven in our mental-fabric and are omnipresent in everything we do; critically, they are uppermost in our mind when serving and interacting with our clients. Our acute sense of duty-to-serve, and serve well, is underpinned by those values that continuously guide our wider modus-operandi for they are deeply-embedded in the kernel of our “corporate corpus”. In life sciences & software engineering-terms, we would describe them as being “hard-wired” into our “synaptic-dna”; they are, indeed, our identity’s core-tenet.

Success is a poly variable-function. A good reliable and cost-effective product is a key parameter, but just as relevant, if not more, is a dependable service. Indeed, a great service represents the lowest-common-denominator in any business success-story. it is so foundational that any company’s perennity is cast into doubt should existing or potential clients perceive that company’s service as unsatisfactory or subpar. A faulty-product maybe replaceable. in stark contrast poor service leaves an often-indelible “mark-of-mediocrity” that could provoke an irreversible cascade of “emotional-distancing” from the supplier in question; a cascade is exponential in nature and ultimately results in a mirrored financial and reputational loss of disproportionately-grave magnitude . At West, we whole-heartedly believe in the veracity of the above. two decades on, we have no intention to relinquish our beliefs; undivided attention to our existing and potential clients together with a consistently good and genuinely-satisfactory service is a sine-qua-non to ensuring the reproducibility of our hitherto success-story. borrowing from French, you could call it our -raison d’etre!

Being fully conscious of the pivotal role that trustworthiness plays in initiating a new business relationship or, indeed, sustaining an existing one, and with the clients’ specific requirements foremost in our minds, we ensure our advice and guidance are unbiased, pertinent and serve the best interest of the client. Where necessary – we shall not refrain from guiding the client to products and solutions outside of our scope or that of our traditional partners, all in the conviction that, in so doing, we generate more than electricity, in fact we firmly saw seeds of trust towards our firm, helping, thereby, to grow those seeds into a fruit-bearing relationship that could, ulteriorly, convert that “potential” client into an actual-client.
